Our story /
Transforming legal recruitment – one conversation at a time
The Aslant journey began in 2016 when our founder – former Singaporean lawyer Shulin Lee – decided to build a legal recruitment firm that did things differently. Shulin created a supportive space where lawyers and business leaders could share their career ambitions and hiring needs honestly, working closely with legal recruitment experts who understood their world. Since then, we’ve gone from strength to strength – delivering award-winning services and placing hundreds of candidates in career-shaping roles.
Why Aslant Legal /
We’re a boutique, local recruitment business with a deep understanding of the legal market in Singapore and how it connects with key legal hubs around the world. We place most of our candidates in Singapore, but we also support organisations in Hong Kong, Australia, the UK, and beyond.
We’re incredibly proud of the work we do, not just because we’re experts in the legal recruitment space, but because we deliver excellent results with heart – combining decades of legal expertise with a focus on thoughtful placements that support candidate wellbeing.
We’ve been recognised for our unique approach, receiving the Gold Local Hero Award at the HR Vendors of the Year Awards 2022, as well as a Silver Award for Best Executive Search Firm. Our founder, Shulin Lee, was also honoured in that year’s ceremony with a Silver Award for Leader of the Year.
